We bought this for my son's third birthday and he's played with it daily. It's great for the imagination, eg I spotted him with it up on his high chair tray (while he was crouching on the floor) lowering down the winch to rescue someone in the stretcher! He's been having some great games with it and although he's very hard on his toys, (being a typical 3 yr old boy!) it's stood up very well. I'll defintely be adding to the set over time and buying one for his cousin whose 3rd bday is coming up soon.

Bought for grandson. He thinks it's great. Took a few minutes to assemble, but no problems. Wonderful for imaginative play.
Fantastic helicopter play set May 9, 2010

I bought this Playmobil medical helicopter set for my grandson for his 6th birthday a month ago. He has played with it every day - and with his older sister. They together enact road crashes with his cars, call out the helicopter, winch up the casualties and fly them to hospital. Where they used to sit passively in front of the television they now play actively together. The people and other accessories are all included in their games, as are his other Playmobil police series characters and vehicles. The helicopter and winch mechanism are standing up well to regular use.

This was my 5 year old son's favourite Christmas present. It took me a while to put together but he absolutely loves it and has played with it almost daily since then. There are a number of accessories, the winch especially is great fun and it appears to be a solid and well-made toy. Worth the money.
