We bought this toy for our 3yr old but I'm not sure who enjoyed it most, we took it on holiday and the oportunities for story making were endless( a pleasant change from cars)The small parts are very easy to loose but that's all part of the learning.

My son loves this toy as do his 3 cousins (3,4 and 5 years old) and visiting friends. I think this will be a fav for years to come.
